VIDEO | The Interfaith family says “Thanks” to retiring executive director Janean Brudvig

November 2, 2024 – Washington Co., WI – Family, friends, and local nonprofit organizations gathered Friday morning at the Top of the Ridge to say “thanks” to Janean Brudvig for her years of leadership at Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County.

According to Interfaith board member Lawrence Schwartz, Brudvig took a small, “struggling” organization and made it flourish with her kind demeanor, fierce dedication, and spectacular grant writing.

Guest speakers Jim Strachota and Mike Phillips praised Brudvig for having the right personality to rally senior citizen volunteers in the community to help other seniors who needed assistance.

Brudvig announced this past June she would be “re-purposing” herself into retirement.

“I will be transitioning out of my role as Executive Director as 2024 closes out. The time is right for a new “captain” with fresh ideas, passion, and heart to set the course for Interfaith’s next decade. A time for transitioning as Interfaith enters its 20th year in 2025,” wrote Brudvig.

At the close of the gathering Brudvig said, “You are all the best folks in the world and
I couldn’t have asked to be in a better place the last 10 years.”
Thank you Janean.
