Oct. 26, 2016 – West Bend, WI – The new Kwik Trip store is a beehive of activity today as the store preps to open on Thursday. “We’re going to have muffins at 79 cents,” said store manager Leanne Rivera. “Every Thursday we have our Angus cheeseburger for $2.19, spicy chicken for $2.19, and a ham and Swiss sandwich for $2.19 and the pulled pork sandwich for $2.19.”
Store employees were busy stocking shelves and cleaning counters.
“We’re hearing a lot of buzz,” Rivera said. “People are very excited to have a Kwik Trip here.”
As far as the opening-day gas price, Rivera said that will be unveiled Thursday morning when the store on Silverbrook opens at 5 a.m.
Across the community it appears other gas outlets are also prepping for Kwik Trip as some West-Bend area stations have lowered their prices to $2.11 for a gallon of regular unleaded.
Kwik Trip will be open 24/7. It does have a liquor license and will be selling wine and hard liquor until 9 p.m. Beer sales will run until midnight.
Kwik Trip has it’s grand opening Monday, Oct. 31.
