Tour de Forest Challenge

May 23, 2019 – Dundee, WI – Travel to the Kettle Moraine State Forest – Northern Unit for the Tour de Forest, a day of adventure solving puzzles, figuring out riddles, and locating unique spots. Teams will compete to see which one can complete the Tour the fastest.

The Tour de Forest runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 2. Sign in at one of the following three locations: Ice Age Visitor Center found off Hwy 67 half mile west of Dundee, The Long Lake Recreation Area Entrance station located off Division Road north of County Road F near Dundee, or the Mauthe Lake Recreation Area located off County Road GGG south County Road SS near New Prospect.

It is Wisconsin’s Free Fun Weekend, so no one needs a Wisconsin State Park System vehicle admission sticker.

The Tour de Forest is a brand new event. Teams will travel along the Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive from New Fane to Greenbush stopping to complete a variety of challenges at different locations along the route. Think of it as a Forest-wide scavenger hunt.

This fun-filled family-friendly event will take you to special spots and test your knowledge of the Kettle Moraine State Forest – Northern Unit.

Prizes will be awarded for those teams which complete the Tour by 4:00 p.m., and a grand prize given to the team that finishes the fastest with the most correct answers.
For more information, contact staff at the Ice Age Visitor Center (920-533-8322). The center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Join us for a fun-filled day traversing the Kettle Moraine State Forest.
