December 30, 2020 – On Tuesday, December 29 Town of Addison clerk Ellen Wolf retired after 23 years on the job. Wolf checked out of work for the last time at 5 p.m. turning her keys over to new clerk Janet Mueller.
She left, not as the town clerk, but as a resident of the town of Addison.
Wolf presided over 35+ elections, numerous town board and Allenton Sanitary District meetings, plus all other committee meetings that needed documentation.
Joining her as she left her officer was her husband, Dan Wolf her children along with some of her grandchildren and some friends.
