Town of Polk to review Clerk’s position following the passing of Sandy Rotar

September 20, 2021 – Town of Polk, WI – The Town of Polk held a special board meeting Monday, September 20, 2021.

One primary item on the agenda was discussed in closed session as the Town looks to fill its clerk position.

Town Clerk Sandra Jean “Sandy” Rotar died August 30, 2021 at the age of 50. Click HERE for the obituary.

Town Board chairman Albert Schulteis issued this statement following the meeting.

“With the unexpected passing of an impactful individual like Sandy, perspectives change instantly. We decided to take a step back, reassess our needs and build on our strengths for the benefit of the existing staff as well as new team member.

I have no forecast on a timeline, but we are in the right direction.”
