“Thanks to the unwavering support and generosity of so many individuals, businesses, and partners throughout Washington County, United Way is poised to continue its mission and impact,” said Kelly Tighe, Campaign Co-Chair.  “We couldn’t have reached new heights without a collective effort.”

A team of Board Members and its Executive Director from the Boys and Girls Club of Washington County chaired the 2023 campaign.

“Chairing the campaign provided an opportunity to build awareness about growing needs and encourage other businesses to get involved and support the campaign,” said Robb Steiner, Campaign Co-Chair.  “It was an honor to serve in this role to help our neighbors in need.”

With the dollars raised, United Way is able to support over 25 local programs.  Prior to the pandemic, challenges such as addiction, hunger, homelessness, and mental health were growing.  Since, these issues have increased even more.  United Way will continue to fund its mental health initiative, ensuring our youth have increased access to mental health counseling.
