The Sheriff in neighboring Dodge County posted an update on an accident from last week Friday when two vehicles collided at the intersection of US 151 and Oakwood Road in the Township of Trenton.
The man behind the wheel of the 1991 Dodge Spirit, Orville Kemink, 78, of Brandon has now died from injuries suffered in that crash.
The accident happened at 3:18 p.m. when Kemink’s vehicle crossed over US 151 and was struck by an RV driven by 68-year-old Ronald Buholzer of Monroe, Wisconsin.
The front of the RV struck the rear of the Dodge, forcing the Dodge off of the roadway.
Buholzer and his passenger Steven Buholzer, 63 years old, were uninjured in the crash.
Kemink suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown from the scene by Flight for Life helicopter to Aurora Summit Hospital.
Assisting at the scene was: Wisconsin State Patrol, Dodge County Emergency Management, Waupun Fire, Lifestar EMS, Dodge County Highway Department.
The accident remains under investigation.
