UPDATE | 6 departments on scene of barn fire in St. Lawrence, WI | By Lt. Jason Guslick

May 17, 2025 – On May 17, 2025, at 5:10 a.m., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center took a call from a motorist passing by that saw smoke was coming from behind a residence at 4219 Hwy 175.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Office Deputy was dispatched to the area and upon his arrival he located a 25 foot by 40-foot steel barn on fire. St. Lawrence Fire was dispatched to the scene.

Property loss management

They were assisted by Allenton FD, Hartford Fire and Rescue, Slinger FD, Richfield FD and Kohlsville FD.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the St. Lawrence Fire Department.
