UWM at Washington County loses tough game to Concordia | By Michael Wallace

Jan. 8, 2019 – Washington Co., WI – UWM at Washington County faced a tough match up against the Falcons of Concordia on Monday night.  The Wildcats started off slow the first half as they quickly found themselves trailing by double digits.

The Falcons used great shooting from behind the arc to propel them to that lead.  The Wildcats trailed 64-37 at halftime.

After halftime, the Wildcats began to pick things up and used a faster pace to their offense to get easy buckets.  They pushed the ball on fast breaks with every given opportunity.  However, the first half lead was too much to over come and the Wildcats fell to  the Falcons 97-76.

David Britton led the team with 24 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds and 4 steals.  Mike Wallace added another 18 points and four steals, and Ross Waddell contributed 14 points on 6-for-12 shooting.
