VIDEO | Russ Darrow Nissan in West Bend to hold ribbon cutting

March 6, 2018  – West Bend, WI – Russ Darrow Group will host the official grand opening of its Nissan dealership at 2665 W. Washington St. in West Bend, on Thurs., March 8, at 9:30 a.m.

The NREDI 2.0 state-of-the-art-facility, which opened to consumers on Nov. 8, 2017, is approximately 15,000 square feet, with an emphasis on technology in the showroom and customer lounge. The dealership features an “all inside” service lane and department for inclement weather, two express lube lanes, and eight service stalls. There are electric vehicle charging stations and a children’s lounge. As is done at all Darrow dealerships, customers receive free car washes when they bring their vehicle in for service, and all are enrolled in the Russ Darrow Reward Card Loyalty Program.

Mike Darrow, President and Chief Operating Officer reiterated the company’s commitment to the local community. “The vast majority of the dealership’s employees reside in Washington County, ” he said. “We are residents serving the people of this community, the place we all call home. We take great pride in knowing our newest dealership is located in the city where the Russ Darrow Group began more than 50 years ago, joining our Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram and Toyota dealerships.

“Since day one, we’ve had a large selection of new Nissan’s and quality pre-owned vehicles available” Darrow said. “We’ve provided full vehicle maintenance and repair services since we opened on any make and model of vehicle.”

Scheduled to join representatives of the Russ Darrow Group in the grand opening will be Wisconsin State Senator Duey Stroebel, Craig Farrell, Executive Director of the West Bend Area Chamber, and John McBane and Matt Stewart from Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation.

In addition, Russ Darrow Group will announce a three-year commitment to the Volunteer Center of Washington County to donate $10,000 per year to support the “Do Good Bus” and the “Hub” Coffee Shop. The “Do Good Bus” brings people together to help local non-profit causes in a fun and social environment, creating community amongst volunteers and proving the power of working together to make a difference. Supporting local nonprofits and staffed by volunteer baristas, the Hub Coffee Shop was created by the Volunteer Center to bring people together and to find inspiration to help others while enjoying a coffee or espresso. Sue Mullin , executive director of Volunteer Center of Washington County, will be at the event, joined by members of the organization’s board of directors.
