August 2, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – In-person absentee voting is underway for the August 14 election. One of the races on the Republican ballot is for Washington County Sheriff.
This past June a candidate forum was hosted by Common Sense Citizens of Washington County. The two men running to replace Dale Schmidt as Washington County Sheriff were featured.
About 60 people were in attendance during the forum held at the West Bend Moose Lodge.
Candidates Martin Schulteis and Jason Guslick  spent a little more than an hour fielding questions about 2nd Amendment rights, a proposed drug court for Washington County, staffing, budgets, and growing gang activity.
Over the next week WashingtonCountyInsider.com will publish video segments from that forum.
In-person absentee voting ends Friday, August 10. Be sure to bring identification to vote.
The partisan primary election is Tuesday, Aug. 14.
