Jan. 4, 2019 – Hartford, WI – Wrestling fans from Washington County gathered at Reef Point Resort on Pike Lake in Hartford Friday afternoon as WWE wrestler Adam Scherr, who performs under the stage name Braun Strowman, completed a polar plunge.
The temperature hit a high in the mid-40s but was starting to drop as Scherr approached the hole in the ice that was about 100-feet off shore. To the cheers of children and encouragement of adults the 385-pound Scherr plunged into Pike Lake… dark socks and all.
Scherr completed the plunge in an effort to raise money for the Boys and Girls Club of Washington County.
