September 12, 2019 – Village of Newburg, WI – Newburg Fire Chief Mark Chesak will officially take the oath of office tonight, Thursday, Sept. 12. Chesak will be sworn in by new Village Administrator Deanna Alexander.
Chesak has been Chief since 2015. He took over for Chief Paul Fahey who served from 2013-2014.

The public is invited to attend a brief ceremony at which Mark Chesak will take the official oath of office for the position of Fire Chief for the Newburg Fire Department.
Date: Thursday, September 12, 2019 Time: 6:45 p.m., immediately preceding the 7 p.m. meeting of the Board of Trustees.
Location: Village Hall, 620 W. Main St. Newburg, Wisconsin
NOTICE
At 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2019 the Newburg Board of Trustees will consider whether or not to appoint a Newburg resident to fill a vacant trustee position.
The vacancy occurred in August 2019 when Trustee Chris Stangel resigned.
Should the board select and appoint a candidate to the position, at the conclusion of that meeting, the Village Clerk will administer the oath of office for the newly appointed Trustee. The public is invited to attend this brief ceremony, scheduled to take place at the conclusion of the meeting.

It is possible that members of governmental bodies, such as the Board of Trustees, may be in attendance during the ceremony referenced in this notice. Although their combined presence may constitute a quorum, no official meeting or action by any governmental body will be taken other than during its scheduled meeting time.
