Hartford, Germantown and KML volleyball advance to WIAA sectional semifinals | By Jason Howarth

October 25, 2021 – Washington Co., WI – Three high school teams from Washington County are advancing to the sectional semifinal of the WIAA state volleyball tournament.
Hartford Union High School
No. 5 Hartford will host No. 1 Oconomowoc on Thursday, October 27 at 7 p.m. Over the weekend Hartford upset No. 4 Fond Du Lac (25-21, 25-22, 26-28, 25-23) to advance to Sectional Semifinals in the WIAA volleyball tournament.
No. 1 Oconomowoc defeated No. 8 Slinger (25-21, 25-15, 20-25, 21-25, 15-12) on Saturday October 23.
No. 2 Manitowoc Lincoln defeated No. 10 West Bend West (25-17, 25-17, 25-17) on Saturday October 23; Manitowoc will play No. 3 Watertown on Thursday, October 27 at  p.m. in Hartford.
No. 1 Germantown defeated No. 8 Menomonee Falls (25-18, 25-20, 25-22) to advance to the Sectional semifinal on Thursday, October 27 at 7 p.m. against No. 4 Brookfield Central at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School
Division 2: Sectional 3:
No. 1 Sauk Prairie defeated No. 2 Kewaskum (25-21, 25-22, 25-15) and will advance to take on No. 1 Ripon in the Sectional Semifinals on Thursday, October 27 at 7 p.m. in Portage.
No. 3 Kettle Moraine Lutheran defeated No. 2 Catholic Memorial (22-25, 25-22,
25-20, 21-25, 15-13) on Saturday October 23. KML will play No. 1 Pewaukee, in Pewaukee on Thursday, October 27 at 7 p.m. in the Sectional Semifinal.
Living Word volleyball
No. 3 Shoreland Lutheran defeated No. 2 Living Word Lutheran (24-26, 25-20, 25-12, 25-15) on Saturday October 23; Shoreland Lutheran plays No. 4 Kenosha Christian Life at Shoreland Lutheran on Thursday, October 27 at 7 p.m. in the Sectional Semifinals
Kettle Moraine Lutheran boys’ soccer will also play in WIAA Sectionals’ Semifinals for Division 3 on Thursday, October 27 at 7 p.m. No. 7 KML will take on No. 3 New Berlin Eisenhower. Slinger Boys’ Soccer was eliminated on Saturday October 23, losing 1-0 to Wauwatosa West.
