Washington Co. 4-H members participate in pin exchange as they meet other 4-H’ers from across the country

Jan. 18, 2017 – Washington D.C. – Our experience started when we got to the National 4-H Conference Center and met up with the rest of the Wisconsin delegates. We took a tour of the Conference Center and then had orientation and listened to a keynote speaker to with the 500 other participants attending.
Afterwards, we split into groups to talk about the types of government around the world.
The whole group then joined back together to have a pin exchange to meet people from different states.
We ended the day with a state delegation meeting to reflect on the past day. It was an amazing first day and there will be more fun to come.
This photo was taken by Nathan with me and Luke Schowalter at the pin trade.
