At 10:14 p.m. a Washington County Sheriff’s deputy on routine patrol stopped a vehicle in Sandy Knoll Park for an after-hours violation. The vehicle was driven by a 17-year-old City of Fond du Lac male with another 15-year-old Town of Trenton male juvenile as a passenger. The deputy noted the odor of marijuana inside the vehicle and also observed assorted paraphernalia in plain view. Both subjects admitted they were in the park smoking marijuana. The diver was cited and both subjects were turned over to responsible parties.

At 10:32 p.m. deputies responded to the Holy Hill Church for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Responding deputies located the vehicle stopped along STH 167. The vehicle was operated by a 30-year-old Menomonee Falls man with a 25-year-old City of Milwaukee man as a passenger. The driver was arrested for suspected drug OWI and operation without a valid driver’s license.

At 11:47 p.m. a deputy located a vehicle in Ackerman Grove County Park after hours driven by a 17-year-old City of West Bend female and also occupied by two 16-year-old males, one from the City of West Bend and the other from the Town of Trenton. The deputy noted the odor of marijuana inside the car; one of the male juveniles admitted to smoking the drug. Marijuana and paraphernalia were located in the vehicle and the 16-year-old male was cited.

While deputies were addressing the first incident at Sandy Knoll Park listed above, another vehicle drove into the park driven by a 32-year-old City of Hartford man at 11:48 p.m. That man acknowledged his driver’s license was revoked and is currently on probation; a condition of his probation is that he may not commit any crimes. The driver will now be facing criminal driving after revocation charges, and the probation officer placed a hold on him. He remains in custody at the Sheriff’s Office.

At 12:35 a.m. deputies responded to the area of Mohawk Rd. and Fairview Dr. in the Town of Wayne for a personal injury accident. While deputies were on the way to the call they were advised the driver wanted to leave the scene but was unable to do so because the vehicle struck a windmill which pinned the car down. Deputies arrived and arrested the 17-year-old Town of Wayne female for operation while intoxicated; she had minor injuries.
