Dec. 27, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Crew from the City of West Bend Water Utility walked the neighborhood in fluorescent vests, hats and mittens on Wednesday evening notifying neighbors in the area of Fifth Avenue and Oak Street about a water main break.
The green note hung on the door indicated the water supply would be shut off at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28 as crew would work to fix a water main leak.
Temps that have plummeted below zero are one of the reasons for the breaks. There was another break earlier this week at 18th Avenue and Cherry Street in West Bend.
