August 20 and 21 the West Bend Moose Lodge hosted the Annual State Moose Horseshoe Tournament.
There were 65 people participating from communities like Beloit, Eastern Kettle Moraine, Janesville, Kenosha, Monroe, Muskego, Racine, & West Bend.
West Bend Lodge had 29 people on its team. After 10 Long Years, West Bend finally got the Traveling Trophy back!
Below is a list of how West Bend Moose Lodge players did in their categories.
Men’s Class H
*Jeff Kaebisch has a ringer percentage of 3%. This was his first tournament and received 1st place!
Men’s Class G
*Dewey Ajack went in with a 7%. He ended with 12% and 2nd place!
*Jeff Schwitz went in with a 9%. He ended with 11% and 3rd place
*Kurt Ullrich went in with a 9% and first tournament. He ended with 12% and 5th place
*Dale Kufahl went in with a 9% as well. He ended with 8% and 7th place
Men’s Class F
*Chuck Costa has a 10%. This was his 1st year shooting in league & 1st tournament. He ended with 19% & 1st place!
*Todd Kaebisch went in with a 10%. This was also his first year and received 5th place
Men’s Class E
*Huntzie Puestow went in with 15%, he ended with 27% and 1st place!
*Cory Wiedmeyer went in with 14%, he received 4th place
*John Carter went in with 15%, he received 5th place
Men’s Class D
*Doug Endries went in with 16%, he received 8th place
Men’s Class C
*Chad Steele went in with 20%. He ended with 23% and 2nd place!
*Tom Costa went in with 18%. He ended with 21% and 3rd place 1st tournament
* Jim Bender went in with 21%. He ended in 5th place
Men’s Class B
*Wally Carter (85 years old on Sept 1st) went in with a 24%. He ended up with a 36% and 1st place!
*John Guillaume went in with 25%. He ended in 4th place
*Jerry Zieja went in with 24%. He ended in 5th place
Men’s Class A
*Curt Carter went in with 28%. He ended in 4th place
Women’s Class C
*Stephanie Carter (24 years old) went in with 7%. She ended with 10% and 1st place!
*Tammy Schmidt went in with 5%. This is her first tournament and ended in 2nd place!
*Amy Kreutzer went in with 6%. She ended with 9% and in 3rd place. 1st tournament
*Traci Kaebisch went in with 1%. This was her first tournament and ended up 4% and 5th place
*Karen Kivell went in with 4%. This was her first tournament and took 6th place
Women’s Class B
*Marilyn Straub has a 9%. She ended with 14% and 2nd place. 1st tournament
*Tina Landrath has a 9%. She ended in 4th place, 1st tournament
*Katti Carter has a 9%. She ended in 5th place, 1st tournament
Women’s Class A
*Jo Smith has a 31%. She ended with 1st place
*Missy Tennis has a 14%. She took 3rd place
*Deb Guillaume has a 19%. She took 4th place
