September 13, 2025- West Bend, WI- The West Bend West JV 2 volleyball team had a solid win against Kewaskum.
The Spartans played hard against the Kewaskum Indians on Tuesday night in front of a raucous student crowd. The first match the Spartans took a strong lead and soon after took the set 25-9. In the second match it was a tie most of the way, but the Spartans pulled through and won the set 26-24. The third set the Spartans started and finished strong, ending it at 25-11. Everyone played with 100% effort and determination.
Macey Fujinaka is a freshman at West Bend West High School. “The team still needs to work on covering and communication/energy. We tend to be too far back and not ready for the block to come back at us. Our energy rises as the match gets closer.”
Harper Elliott is a freshman at West Bend West High School. “We had good, consistent serving,” she said. “We should work on communication because when we start communicating, we play better. We had some good ups and great hits.”
