Jan. 15, 2017 – West Bend, WI – West Bend Bombers (8-2) hosted the Mosinee Papermakers (6-4) at the Kettle Moraine Ice Center on Saturday, in their second matchup of the season. West Bend took game one in Mosinee by a score of 6-2. West Bend has a 5-12 all-time record against Mosinee.
The Papermakers won Saturday‘s game 10 to 5.
Scorers were: Tomas Jilemenicky (1 goal-unassisted and 1 assist), Marshall Klitzke (1 Powerplay goal), RJ Rick (1 goal), Brian Rupp (1 goal), Shay Klitzke (1 goal). Other players gaining points tonight for assists: Tanner Tryggestad (2 pts), Tom Lindgren, Dusty Jonasson, Jeff Baumberger, Steve Buda and Russell Johnson with 1 assist (1 pt.) each.
Saturday was also the Bombers 3rd annual Teddy Bear Toss game. This event is done to help support the Boys and Girls Clubs of Washington Co. The Bombers would like to thank everyone who donated.
West Bend Bombers are on the road next weekend, visiting the De Pere Deacons, and the Marquette (MI) Mutineers, respectively. The Bombers next home game will be January 28 at 8 p.m. hosting the De Pere Deacons. It will be Scouts and West Bend YMCA Members night-Free admission to Scouts in uniform and WB YMCA member ID.
