West Bend Children’s Theatre, Inc, presents Peter Pan & Wendy April 9 – 11, 2026

West Bend, Wi – West Bend Children’s Theatre, Inc. presenting the musical “Peter Pan and Wendy: Stories at the Window,” at the Silver Lining Arts Center to thousands of school children this week.

Imaginations will soar when Peter & his shadow pop through Wendy’s window and soon they are flying off to Neverland, where they encounter Captain Hook, his band of pirates and a 21-foot crocodile named “Tic Toc.”

Full of enchanting music and many beloved characters, this fast-paced, fresh reimagining of this timeless tale by local playwright Sandra Barby is a treat for children of any age, filled with warmth, wit, and a touch of magic.

The public is invited to enjoy this adventure at shows on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m.  Tickets are available at the door or online at www.wbchildrenstheatre.com.  WBCT’s scholarship recipients will be introduced briefly following the Friday show.

West Bend Children’s Theatre, Inc. is the oldest continually running community theatre group in the area. It is not unusual to hear a parent or grandparent say, “I came to their plays with my class when I was in grade school!”

Conceived in 1933 by the West Bend Women’s Club, all roles were played by women until a few years ago. Now you will see women, men, and children of all ages on stage delighting audiences of school children and their teachers, also families and theatre supporters.

WBCT is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization with the mission of presenting an annual, live musical theater experience to classes of school children in the surrounding areas as well as awarding scholarships to local high school seniors.
