Biertzer has been the Executive Director of the DWBA for three years but has been on staff since 2015. She has been involved with the temporary move of Music on Main and the Downtown West Bend Farmer’s Market as construction takes place in the market’s usual locale – no easy feat.

“I’ve worked at Habitat in the past,” said Biertzer, “I’m going to be working on some veteran programs. I’m super excited to be attached to that.”

An interesting fact about Biertzer – she is an Army vet, having served from 1989 to 1997. “I come from a military family,” said Biertzer, “My son was in the Army and my daughter is serving in Kuwait. My son-in-law is also in the Air Force.”

Moving forward, Biertzer will continue to use her gifts and talents within the community. “I am going to be supporting Habitat through Germanfest so you’ll find me [there],” said Biertzer.
