Jan. 24, 2017 – West Bend, WI – CHILD NEGLECT / THEFT OF PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION

On January 23, 2017, at 7:08 a.m., a West Bend woman reported the theft of her 7-year-old childās prescription medication. Through investigation West Bend Police determined the childās father had been stealing his sonās prescription medication. The father had been giving his child Ibuprofen instead of his prescribed medication. Police arrested the 39-year-old father and charged him with Child Neglect and Theft of Prescription Medication.
HIT & RUNĀ -1800 Block of South Indiana Avenue
On January 23, 2017, at 1:06 p.m. a West Bend man, 73,Ā was stopped at a stop sign at Indiana Avenue and East Paradise Drive when his vehicle was struck in the rear by another vehicle. The driver of the striking vehicle then backed up, made a U-turn, and fled the scene of the collision. The suspectās vehicle is described as a tan GM type vehicle with possible minor damage and maroon paint transfer to the passenger side front bumper and/or fender. The driver of the vehicle is a male, white or Hispanic, in his late teens to early twenties. There were no injuries as a result of the collision.
