West Bend man injured in motorcycle accident in Town of Barton

 

 

June 17, 2017 – Town of Barton, WI – A 54-year-old West Bend man was taken by Flight for Life to a Milwaukee hospital after he was injured in a motorcycle accident in the Town of Barton.

Washington County Sheriffs said a passing motorist found the man lying in the northbound lane of Townline Road at 12:13 p.m. Friday.

Sheriff’s determine the motorcyclist was northbound on Townline Road when the lone occupant/operator applied the brakes, and was ejected from the cycle.

The operator indicated a deer crossing Townline Road was the cause of the crash.

There is no reason to believe speed or alcohol were involved in the crash. The operator was wearing a helmet when the crash occurred.

Assisting at the scene were the Allenton and West Bend Fire Departments.

The West Bend man was flown from the scene by Flight for Life and transported to Froedtert Medical Center in Milwaukee for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
