West Bend police arrest 2 people following theft at ShopKo

RETAIL THEFT / POSSESSION OF NARCOTICS – 1700 Block of South Main Street

 

On October 14, 2016, at 9:35 p.m., a Shopko Loss Prevention employee reported observing a man and woman entered the store, select a variety of items from the shelves, conceal the items, leave the business without paying for the merchandise and leave the business in a vehicle.

 

Responding officers located the vehicle and suspects in the parking lot of Walmart a short time later.

 

A 31-year-old Lannon man was arrested for Retail Theft and Bail Jumping as the man is currently out of jail on bail for an open criminal case of Retail Theft.

 

A 30-year-old Lannon woman was arrested for Retail Theft and Possession of Narcotics, after the woman was found to have Schedule II prescription pills in her possession without a valid prescription.

 

The stolen merchandise was recovered from the vehicle.
