West Bend Police investigate report of student carrying Glock 45 to West Bend School | By West Bend Police

Sept. 26, 2018 – West Bend, WI – On Sept. 25, 2018, at 6 p.m., the West Bend Police Department was notified by West Bend School District officials of a social media post in which a subject posted that his daughter carried a “Glock 45” handgun to school each day.

This post was in response to a lengthy social media exchange concerning the fight between two 15 year olds which occurred earlier on Sept. 25, 2018.

The posting caused school officials to concern for the safety of the school district students and staff and the post was immediately reported to police.

 

 

 

 

 

The investigation identified the author of the post as a 41-year-old male West Bend resident.

The subject was located, interviewed, and stated there was no truth to the post. The subject stated he was seeking a reaction from other readers.

The subject was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and released.
