West Bend, WI – West Bend Thunder Little League Baseball will host a community cookout this weekend, April 29 and 30. Proceeds benefit the Stars & Stripes Honor Flight.
“The Honor Flight means we can remember and celebrate what veterans have done for us,” said Gabe Lambrecht. “The Honor Flight is special to us because our grandpa was in it.”
Fifth grader Griffin Lambrecht said, “It means a lot that our Thunder baseball teams are partnering with the Honor Flight for our annual fundraiser because they are both so important to our family. Both of our grandpa’s are Vietnam Veterans and both are our biggest fans.”
