West Bend, WI – What an awesome season for our West Bend Thunder 9U team. We worked really hard all year, had a lot of fun, and never gave up.
West Bend Thunder accomplishments:
1st Place at the Jackson Tournament
1st Place at the Kewaskum Tournament
2nd place in the Plover Tournament
9U yellow bracket State League Tournament Champions.
West Bend Thunder beat the Junior Lancers 6-5 to get to the championship game. The Thunder then played Menomonee Falls Jr. Phoenix in the Championship game at Heritage Park in Richfield on July 14. It was a super exciting game, and the Thunder won 15-14.
Highlights included: Archer stole home to score the winning run. Noah, Connor, Beckett, and Carter all pitched great. Louie R., Beckett, Noah, and Caine all got multiple hits. Noah and Colton had lots of RBIs. Louie K. made awesome plays in the infield, Alex and Cole made amazing plays in the outfield.
