October 14, 2020 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend West Lady Spartans JV1 volleyball team played a tough match against the West Bend East Suns, winning 2-1.
The Lady Spartans played excellent defense and ran a quick offense that led to many kills. Ace serves, digs, kills, and blocks all contributed to the win for the Lady Spartans.
The Lady Spartans ran into some mental errors during the second set. The team’s overall hustle, determination, and good communication throughout the match led to a great win.
The Lady Spartans were led by Gianna Hemauer with 5 aces, Makenzie Grass had 5 kills, Caitlin Wohlt had 10 assists for kills and Megan Spaeth with 13 digs.
The Lady Spartans are 4 – 0 in the North Shore Conference.
