October 15, 2020 – West Bend, WI – West Bend West played its third match in three straight days and lost to the Cedarburg Bulldogs 18-25, 25-22, 17-25, 16-25.
The Lady Spartans got off to a slow start against Cedarburg in the first set but the team rallied in the second set.
Both teams found motivation in lengthy rallies.
Strong serving kept the Lady Spartans alive through the match.
Leading the pack was Kelsey Corbett with 2 ace serves and 7 assists, Amalia Moore had 7 kills; Leah Nagel and Ellie Meurer finished with 5 kills each, Isabelle Sternig had 12 assists for kills and Molly Spaeth had 8 assists. Jada Slagle had 16 digs and Melanie Wedin had 10.
West Bend West is 4 – 2 in the North Shore Conference.
