April 20, 2026 – Washington Co., Wi – Mother Nature just can’t let go of winter’s final grasp on Washington County, Wi, as she dropped temperatures below freezing in most areas last night and neighbors woke up to a hard frost.

The National Weather Service forecast, “Widespread frost before 9 a.m. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 51. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.”

Later this week temperatures are expected to be in the 70s.
Did you see the flurries Sunday morning on your way to church? Deanna Schmidt from Schmidt Century Farm on St. Anthony Road caught the snow around 9:30 a.m.
