Slinger, Wi – Neighbors who live in Slinger should be aware of a public meeting Wednesday, August 27, 2025, regarding plans to repave 3.6 miles of WIS 175. The reconstruction will run from Maple Avenue to just north of County Highway K.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) the project will include bridge repairs, reconstruction of curb and gutter, replacement of culverts and storm sewer, along with pavement replacement.
This project is tentatively scheduled to get underway in 2029.
WIS 175 will likely be closed to through traffic during construction, with a posted detour route in effect. Access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
The public meeting is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Slinger Village Hall, 300 Slinger Road.
