The investigation into the plane crash that occurred on Saturday July 31, 2021 in the Town of Hartford continues. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is working with investigators of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to investigate the crash.
Overnight, the Washington County Sheriff was notified the female pilot succumbed to her injuries suffered in the plane crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the FAA. The pilot’s names are not being released at this time.
The man involved in the accident is reportedly in stable condition.
Investigators say the plane did not run out of gas. More details will be released when information becomes available.
