April 2, 2026 – Fond du Lac Co., Wi – On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at approximately 11:52 p.m., the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a 911 call from a passing motorist reporting a single-vehicle rollover crash at the intersection of County Highway W and County Highway BB in the Town of Ashford.
Deputies from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene, along with personnel from the Campbellsport Fire Department, Campbellsport Ambulance, Campbellsport First Responders, Wisconsin State Patrol and City of Fond du Lac Ambulance (Intercept).
The preliminary investigation indicates that a pick-up truck was traveling northbound on County Highway BB when it failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway, traveled down an embankment, struck a culvert, and overturned onto County Highway W.
The driver and sole occupant, a 30-year-old woman from Waukesha, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The intersection of County Highway BB and County Highway W was closed for approximately 3 hours.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
