There are quite a few development projects going on in West Bend and Washington County. A new Kwik Trip is rapidly being built on Silverbrook Drive.

Across the street on Paradise a new single bay car wash is opening at the Shell Stations. Progress on the new headquarters for Delta Defense can be see from Highway 45 south and this week another project will jump into the mix as construction begins on the new BP gas station in the 1200 block of S. Main Street in West Bend.

Plans for the gas station and convenience store were submitted in March 2015 by Steve Magestro, owner of Mad Max.

Plans call for reconfiguring the lot, razing the building, replacing the existing canopy and pumps, building a new convenience store and drive-thru and adding a total of 29 parking stalls. The former Clothes Clinic will also be razed.

Magestro owns several gas stations in West Bend including the Shell station in Barton, the BP station on Silverbrook and the station on Highway 33 and Meadowbrook Drive.
