Obit: John Soba, 81, Hubertus

John Soba passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Molly Soba. Loving father of Katie (Paul) Bernard, Luke Soba, Joe (Heidi) Soba and Michael (Mandy) Soba. Proud grandfather of Travis (Kirstin), Sarah, Ben, Olivia, the late Alexis, Kinsley, Sammi and Hanna. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church (1200 St. Gabriel Way, Hubertus) on Wednesday, August 17 from 10 to 12 noon with Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Interment St. Columba Cemetery.John was a member of the Wisconsin Mycological Society, the Florida Gulf Coast Banjo Band, the St. Louis American Legion and a strong supporter of the N.R.A. John was also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and biking. He also enjoyed Polka Dancing with Molly, eating fine foods, painting, wood carving, banjo playing and working on his hobby farm. John will be missed deeply by his family, relatives and friends, especially his wife, Molly, his best friend and team mate.
