Watch speed skater Jordan Stolz compete in Thialf, Heerenveen, Netherlands

November 21, 2022 – Heerenveen, Netherlands – Speed skater Jordan Stolz from the Town of Kewaskum is competing this weekend in a World Cup event in Thialf, Heerenveen, Netherlands.

Click HERE to watch (32:30 minute mark) Stolz race the 1500 meter against the winner of the 1000-meter race, Ning Zhongyan from China. Zhongyan captured first place in the 1000 meter with a time of 1:07:86.

In the 1500 meter race Stolz finished at 1:44:27, behind Zhongyan who crossed the finish at 1:43:91. Stolz finished in 9th place in the 1500 meter. The winner was Connor Howe of Canada with a time of 1:43:38.

Stolz is dressed in his traditional blue uniform with white stars and red stripes on the sleeve.

On Saturday, in the 500-meter race, Stolz finished in fourth place with a time of 34:70. The winner from Canada, Laurent Dubreuil, finished with a top time of 34:34. Click HERE to watch at 59:31.

Also competing Saturday was the USA womens team in the team sprint. The USA team took home a bronze medal and third place with a time of 1:27:72. Click HERE to watch the awards ceremony at 3:07:57. The USA womens team: McKenzie Browne, Erin Jackson, Kimi Goetz.

Erin Jackson also finished 4th in the 500 meter with a time of 37.53.
