December 15, 2022 – St. Lawrence, WI – Leonard’s Express Trucking delivered 810 veteran wreaths for the Allenton American Legion Post’s Wreaths Across America.
The wreaths were unloaded at Vince Strupp’ Shop on State Highway 175.
Veteran Vince Strupp left Columbia Falls, Maine, WAA Headquarters, earlier this week loaded with about 4,000 veteran wreaths.
Strupp traveled as far as Wilmington, Connecticut and plans to arrive at the trucking stage area in Virginia about 30 miles outside of Arlington National Cemetery.
There were 15 semi loads on three different days that went to Arlington National Cemetery, 88,695 wreaths per day at Arlington for a total of 266,085 wreaths.
The Allenton American Legion will be distributing the wreaths for pickup on Saturday, December 17.
Wreaths will be placed at veterans graves in cemeteries across Washington County.
