GSC named 2016 Germantown Business of the Year by Germantown Chamber of Commerce

April 5, 2017 – Germantown, WI – GSC, a leading provider of 3D engineering solutions, was recognized as the 2016 Business of the Year by the Germantown Chamber of Commerce. The award recognizes an active Chamber member that has positively influenced the community through business expansion, support of community projects, and improving the quality of life in Germantown.

In 2015, GSC purchased an existing, unused building that had previously housed Family Fun Land, which closed in 2010.

The location was a perfect fit for the rapidly-growing business due to its proximity to the Germantown business park and its ability to accommodate the company’s growing staff and active hiring trends.

In September 2016, GSC settled into its new headquarters, located at W189 N11161 Kleinmann Dr. in Germantown. Since then, GSC has focused on building relationships and supporting other Germantown businesses and local causes.

“We could have chosen anywhere to base our headquarters, but Germantown’s strong sense of community really made the village standout in our minds,” said David Kasinskas, GSC President. “It’s also centrally located to our satellite offices with convenient access to lodging and the freeway, making it easy for remote staff, customers, and training students to access our services and facility.”

GSC selected The Kubala Washatko Architects to design and direct the transformation of the building into a one-of-a-kind, multi-functional space. The new headquarters, designed with the customer in mind, boasts expanded training facilities, a 3D printing showroom and lab, as well as a café. It also features amazing products created by GSC customers using SOLIDWORKS solutions and Stratasys 3D printers.

“Over 60% of the space is dedicated to our customers – from the expanded training center to the 3D printing showroom,” said Kasinskas. “Our goal was to create a space where someone can develop new skills, while also seeing the latest in 3D engineering design and additive manufacturing technology.”

In addition to continued efforts to support local organizations, GSC continues to be a proud partner and supporter of Teen Challenge of Wisconsin. Teen Challenge of Wisconsin provides youth, adults, and families an effective and comprehensive faith-based solution to life-controlling drug and alcohol problems to become productive members of society.
