Oct. 13, 2017 – Jackson, WI – A recent post by Police in the Village of Jackson. “Yes, we know there’s a problem at the railroad crossing. Village officials have asked our state legislators to encourage the Department of Transportation to work with the Canadian National Railroad to get it fixed.”
The crossing on Highway 60, especially if a motorist is eastbound, is rather dicey. There’s a pretty significant gap right before the track. Some motorists have been know to swing far to the right … almost to the sidewalk.
If you recall in March 2016, neighbors in Allenton experienced a similar situation that took nearly a year to resolve.
