May 13, 2018 – West Bend, WI – For the past few weeks the lobby inside McDonald’s at 1810 W. Washington Street has been closed for remodel. On Saturday, May 12 customers were greeted with a whole new look that featured self-order kiosks, independent tables with yellow bench seating, a series of independent stools with a table along side the window and a new computer gaming table for the kids.

McD’s has also focused on table service and the payment machines are more modern.  It looks very similar to the updated interior at the McDonald’s on Highway 60 in Jackson

Gone are the high-top tables and fireplace.

Coming up in August the McDonald’s on S. Main Street with go through a major remodel as the galactic theme and kids play area is removed.

“The galactic theme will be going away,” said Steve Kilian Jr. “McDonald’s is going with a more modern, contemporary theme. We’re still going to keep a kids play area but it will more relevant to today’s kids.”

Kilian Jr. said there will still be an area for kids to runaround and play.

“There will not be a ball pit but there will be a climbing apparatus within the play land,” said Kilian Jr.
