Hartford, WI – Residents in the City of Hartford, WI should have received their 2021 tax statement which is earlier than in prior years.
This year, the City of Hartford joined several other groups in Washington County and sent out tax statements through a private company who were quicker than the County at getting them proofed, printed and mailed prior to the normal December 15.
With that, the City of Hartford Finance Department started accepting tax payments on the second floor of the City Hall.

If you want to stop up and pay your taxes, you have two options to get to the department. You can take the stairs at the front of the building up one flight to the second floor. Or park in back of the building and take the elevator up two flights to the second floor. The average household in the City of Hartford, WI saw a 5.6% decrease in overall taxes.
