74-year-old motorcyclist seriously injured in accident in Sheboygan Co. | By Sgt. Brad Robinson

September 17, 2021 – Town of Plymouth, Wi – On Friday, September 17, 2021, at approximately 2:25 p.m., the Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call about a personal injury motor vehicle accident at the intersection of State Highway 23 and County Road P, in the Town of Plymouth.

Preliminary investigation showed a motorcycle traveling eastbound on State Highway 23 turned northbound at County Road P and was struck by a truck traveling westbound on State Highway 23.

Sheboygan Co. Sheriff

The operator of the motorcycle, a 74-year-old male from the Town of Plymouth, suffered serious injuries and was transported via LifeNet Air Ambulance to Theda Clark Medical Center.  The operator of the truck, a 62-year-old male from the Town of Lyndon, did not require immediate medical attention.

The following public safety agencies assisted with this incident: Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department, Plymouth Police Department, Town of Plymouth Fire Department, Orange Cross Ambulance, Sheboygan County Highway Department, and LifeNet Air Ambulance.

The names of those involved will not be released until after 1 p.m. on September 18, 2021.
