November 13, 2020 – Town of Erin, WI – On Thursday, November 12, 2020, at 8:16 p.m., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a single vehicle accident located on St. Augustine Road south of Elmwood Road in the Town of Erin.
Deputies responded along with personnel from Richfield Fire Department, Lisbon Rescue, and Flight for Life.
Upon arrival, the lone driver, a 17-year-old male from the Village of Richfield, was located trapped in the vehicle. Fire and rescue personnel extricated the driver, who suffered a leg injury.
Flight for Life was requested and responded to Plat Elementary School, in order to transport to Froedtert Hospital Milwaukee.
The crash remains under investigation, although a preliminary investigation revealed the driver failed to negotiate the curve on St. Augustine Road.
