March 12, 2021 – Allenton, Wi – A water advisory has been issued by the Allenton Sanitary District following a puncture of a major water line at Railroad Street and Main Street. The puncture occurred at 1:15 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2021.
Water was finally restored to the west side of Allenton at 3:50 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2021.
Allenton Fire Chief John Breuer said water is back on and both wells were running all night to refill the tower to normal levels. The system should be back to normal operation for fire protection.
