Dec. 4, 2018 – West Bend, WI – There has been a lot of business activity and growth lately in Racine and Kenosha counties. American Construction Services, Inc. is excited to join in that growth by recently partnering with Poclain Hydraulics, a France-based company that specializes in the design, manufacture, and marketing of hydrostatic transmissions.
American Construction Services is remodeling the existing 123,000-square-foot location in Yorkville, WI while managing a 60,000-square-foot addition.
Construction began in late March with the official groundbreaking taking place in May. The addition is expected to be completed in spring 2019. Despite weather challenges, the construction process is moving along successfully. Right now, American Construction Services is finishing the second floor, which includes offices, conference rooms, a kitchenette and restrooms.
At the end of November the last few insulated precast panels were set and doors and windows were started. Also, during this time, the roof deck installation began along with the skylights. Work on the first floor will begin in January, which will primarily be adding on to Poclain Hydraulics’ operating space.
