Jan. 21, 2019 – West Bend, WI – Cedar Community is hosting a service of celebration honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, Jan. 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Cedar Community, Cedar Ridge Campus, 113 Cedar Ridge Drive, West Bend.
Join us in the Grand Hall for this community-wide intergenerational event as we welcome students from the West Bend High School’s Multicultural Club, offering personal reflections and selections of Martin Luther King’s writings, as well as the school’s Concert and Honors Choirs. Additional musicians include the Choristers of Cedar Community and EcuMen, an ecumenical mens choir from area churches of Washington County. Local clergy and ministry representatives from several area churches, members of Cedar Community’s Diversity Group, and many people from the community will also be in attendance. The event is open to the public.
