On 06/16/23 at 1739 hours, emergency personnel responded to Billy Simm’s restaurant for a medical emergency involving a 20-year-old male located in the restroom. Lifesaving efforts were performed and were not successful. There is no evidence of foul play occurring in the restaurant. The investigation is ongoing.

West Bend Police confirm a death investigation is underway after a person was found deceased in a bathroom at a business, 1442 W Washington St., West Bend, WI.
Police confirm the call came in after 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023. A customer said after police arrived and went to the back of the restaurant to the bathroom area, that he and his wife were ushered out as the business closed.

The owner of the restaurant said they “closed for the rest of Friday night. The restaurant reopened at 11 a.m. Saturday.”
Yellow police tape was seen Friday evening surrounding the entrance to the building. Several squads were in the parking lot off Meadowbrook Drive.
Police refrained from speculating on the cause of death until the investigation was complete.
