Feb. 19, 2017 – Town of Trenton, WI – Fire destroyed a home in Dodge County’s Town of Trenton Friday night. Waupun Fire Chief B.J. DeMaa said the family of three living in the home safely escaped, but a dog died in the fire.
The Red Cross is assisting the family.
Thirteen fire departments battled the blaze at N10241 Highway 151. No one was hurt in fire-fighting efforts.
Firefighters were on the scene for about five hours. Dennis Schmitt owns the home. The time of the fire call was around 8 p.m.
