August 25, 2022 – Germantown, WI – On Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 11:15 p.m., a deputy stopped a Porsche Panamera on I41 near Maple Road in the village of Germantown for a traffic violation but the K9 unit hit on drugs.
During the stop, the Germanton K9 alerted on the vehicle. A subsequent probable cause search resulted in the seizure of 4.7 grams of Fentanyl, 8 grams of cocaine, 76 Hydrocodone pills and a firearm with a 3D printed frame.

Both the driver, a 38-year-old Milwaukee man, and the passenger, a 24-year-old Milwaukee woman, were taken into custody on various charges including possession with intent to deliver narcotics, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony bail jumping and illegal weapons charges.
Both individuals remain in custody at the Washington County Jail.
This is a working story, and we’ll bring you more details as information becomes available including the amount of bail/bond.
It was March 17, 2022 when two out of four men wanted in the alleged burglary of four businesses in Washington County were taken into custody. A bail of $10,000 was set in Judge Sandra Giernoth’s court for Cajuan T. Marshall Jones. He was bailed out and then failed to show for an April 4, 2022 hearing. An arrest warrant has now been issued as Marshall Jones is back on the street.
The case above was highlighted in a Guest Editorial by Jesse Kremer where he noted, “In modern-day American, there is no deterrent for crime. Judges and prosecutors are not locking up offenders to the fullest extent of the law.”
On a side note: It was July 2, 2022 when the announcement was made that the state of Wisconsin had received $400 million in a settlement of an opioid lawsuit. Washington County was part of that suit filed in November 2017.
Nov. 7, 2017 – Washington Co., WI – The old Washington County Courthouse took center stage Tuesday as attorneys from the law firm of Crueger Dickinson were joined by officials from Washington County and representatives from 28 other counties in Wisconsin to announce a lawsuit against five pharmaceutical companies for their role in the current opioid epidemic.
Washington County actually had three lawsuits as part of that filing. So far, no word how much money the county received as part of that settlement.
Pursuant to the directive of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6 – Trial Publicity, be advised that a charge is merely an accusation, and the individual(s) is/are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
